First, I love that I don't have to find a spot in my house to hang my clothes thanks to built-in hanger. Second, I love its big water tank that allows me to finish my whole batch of clothes without having to refill it. But most importantly, I love that it's powerful and leaves my garments ready in no time. One thing to consider is that you need some space to store it. Overall, I'm happy with my Phillips Stand Steamer and would recommend it to everyone.

When I first set up the Philips Stand Steamer, I was immediately surprised by how quickly it heated up and was ready to use. The handle is lightweight and easy to maneuver across the clothing. I was pleasantly surprised by how well the steam was getting rid of creases and wrinkles in the fabric. I wish I had something to press the clothes against while steaming, like a fabric backing to the stand, but overall, I am very pleased with the steaming results!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love everything about this steamer. First of all the pink colour is soooo cute! The stand has an adjustable height which is good if you want to store it away, but it is so compact that I’ve just left it setup in the corner of my spare room. As for the steamer itself, it has different settings which worked well for both my delicate shirts, and my thick linen dresses. It’s not a crisp as what you would get if you used a traditional iron, however it’s far more superior for dresses with detail that are difficult to iron, or on delicate fabric you’re worried about burning. It only takes 45 seconds to heat up so it’s also useful for last minute touch ups when getting ready. And finally (and this was a standout for me), the heat proof glove was amazing!!! Zero heat got through, even when the steamer was directly on the glove, which allowed me to pull the fabric tight, and get every crease out.

That is until the Philips Stand Steamer STE1020/40 came into my life, and it has been a game changer. Setting it up was simple, quick and easy. The unit heats up super fast and after about a minute you get a steady and uninterrupted stream of steam flowing out of the nozzle. A quick once over with the steamer, and those school uniforms look presentable in no time. It's also perfect for the school jumpers that just require a freshen up between wears. No more wrestling with the ironing board and iron. It's just hang, steam and done - wrinkle free and ready to wear. Unfortunately, it's not perfect for all scenarios and for those deep stubborn creases you will likely still need to break out the iron. A few more minor negatives are that it does spit out a little water, the hose gets hot, the cord isn't very long and there are no wheels. It's still fantastic if you're looking for a fast and easy way to tackle wrinkles.

This steamer, however, makes the job incredibly easy. I found it simple to set up, and I really like the little clips on the extendable rails, which add stability and keep garments from slipping. The steamer itself is lightweight and easy to use. It removed wrinkles effortlessly and was also fantastic for freshening up my curtains, which is especially handy when you have two giant dogs brushing past them all the time! I’d recommend the Philips stand steamer to anyone looking for a hassle-free alternative to traditional ironing.
