PerfectCare Aqua ProSteam generator iron

I grew up in a household where everything was ironed, a good iron is something ladies would brag about. I am, mildly, not a fan of ironing unless i have to on a run. I was looking for something that performance well as an iron and as a steamer for upright use. I have tried out few irons in a shop for the budget of $400. This iron performed the best and was light, so i got it. All i can say, it is like a magic, sinlge stroke perfection and for vertical use great too. you will never get the pressed effect on upright steamers but it still achieved the result i wanted. It is a wide surface wide excellent pressure output. My advise for those researching, look at pump capacity in addition to the W. Without pump steam is useless. This model has 6.5 bar pressure which makes a difference!

This product is easy to use and maintain. It glides smoothly, which make ironing easily without too much effort.

The PerfectCare Aqua Pro is easy to use and makes ironing a lot faster. I am glad that I have changed to the steam iron system as I am time poor and this will help with managing the work/life balance.

I quite enjoy ironing (did I just destroy any credibility I might possibly have had?), and I do a lot of dressmaking. This iron makes short work of any and all fabrics and garments. It takes less time and less effort to get a basket of ironing done, and the lightweight iron is easy on the arthritic old hand. I have only two concerns. As someone else mentioned, the loud noise of the build-up of steam pressure is initially disconcerting. It sounds like a coffee machine gurgling away but I am now used to that. And, I am left handed, so the power cord can get in the way.

This product is fantastic. It is much faster than any iron I have used. The iron is very light and it gets the crinkles out in no time! One of the best products I have ever purchased.

The best iron I've ever owned and I've had a few. It turnes off on its own if you've forgotten. Don't have to worry about settings as its all done. Great iron

I bought this on the recommendation from a friend, and I have not been disappointed. The iron is lightweight and glides over all clothing. There is no temperature dial, the iron changes the temperature depending on what your ironing....you can go from denim to cotton to silk, with no problem!

It is fantastic that I don’t need to worry about burning my clothes and I don’t need to worry about adjusting settings. The iron was actually very light which makes it easier for ironing for long periods of time without causing strain on your arm and hand. It is great for steaming clothes vertically too so inthe morning I can just give my clothes a once over with steam whilst they are on the hanger. The unit isn’t too large which is great for storage purposes. It also has a safety lock for carrying so the iron won’t fall off and hurt you which was a nice little extra! It also has a safety auto off which again is a great additional extra. Extremely happy with this iron and have already recommended it to everyone I know!

I have been using my Philips perfectcare aqua pro steam generator for a few weeks now and I can honestly say I would not switch back to a standard iron. The instructions are clear and easy to understand. set up is really simple too. The iron heats up quickly and I can control the steam at the touch of a button. It comes with a whopping 2.5L water tank! Brilliant for when you have a large amount of ironing to do. The iron itself is extremely light weight and comfortable to hold. I cut my ironing time down by half as I didn't need to iron both sides of my garments. The iron just glides over clothes, with no need to adjust the temperature as this is automatic. I did try the vertical steam on a blouse I had washed and hung up on a coat hanger, and the results were great. Overall, this iron has been a god send !!
